Shine Somber was formed as a whole unit in 2001. Members from former bands bound together with one goal in mind, to make music. The core group, Kevin and Cory on guitar, Mike on Bass and Hap on drums, were going by the name of Solus. That is until the addition of Brooks, Dan and Nick rounding out the lineup to form the group Shine Somber. Our music can only be described as beautiful and melodic metal. With a stage show that cannot be surpassed by any band, Shine Somber’s live shows are an unforgettable, nonstop show of adrenaline, music, fire and melody. We were formed because we had nothing better to do then play music; it’s the only thing that we’re good at.
