Day of Less grew up dissatisfied, for the most part, by our surroundings. Our taste in music, along with many other things, was certainly influenced in adolescence by the critical nature we adopted during that time. Hopefully, we have grown up a lot since then. Hopefully, the feeling of cynicism has been been replaced with empathy, and the anger we felt has been replaced by concern. One thing remains. We are still not satisfied. Once empathy sets in, we end up being satisfied with less than what we had before. These are some of the issues our music adresses.
December 2001 marked their debut CDep with the Great Anti Listen. Next up will be the highly anticipated full length which will emerge in May 2002 and a tour to follow with 6MH.

Split E.P. This release is huge. Two new bands in the scene that rip this CD apart. The Great Anti Listen features Aaron Edge on vocals. He's been a fixture in the hardcore community for over 12 years. His past projects were Himsa, Genuine, Harkonen and Christ. Screaming and singing w/ huge D-tuned guitars. Day of Less also display their gut wrenching songs. Pissed off yet pretty at the same time. Both bands seem influenced by Grade, Thursday, Quicksand and Hum. -Hit List (BAM)
